Artist Bio
Samantha is a bilingual Canadian vocalist and songwriter from Chelsea, Quebec.
R.E.S.I.L.I.E.N.T. is Samantha's first album featuring a dozen original songs in English, all written and composed by Samantha over the course of two decades.
Samantha's inspiration comes from her own life experience and also by her observations over the past 15 years as a mother, life coach and public speaker.

About the Album
R.E.S.I.L.I.E.N.T. takes us on an intimate, lyrical journey of love and loss, betrayal, adversity, friendship and acceptance, as the artist weaves through the narrative of her life. While not overtly bringing up her fundamentalist upbringing or having overcome religious shunning, the album addresses issues of isolation, depression, societal entitlement as well as female empowerment and ultimate resilience.
Dancing between nuances of folk, pop and even rock opera, Samantha paints a raw portrait of navigating the world without the emotional, educational, or financial support often afforded to those with privileged backgrounds and how it’s never too late to find creative ways to tell our story.
